Jane is taking her act on the road. Next month, Jane Austen will headline her own session at the Missouri Library Association conference in St. Louis.
Her two loyal publicity flaks supporters, Kaite and Jenny, will talk about how library staff can use Jane to star in their own series of programs, everything from movies to tea parties to this blog.
If you’re going to be in St. Louis, stop by and give one of literature’s most popular authors a boost. Perhaps she’ll offer you a spot of tea.

Just read on the Austen Blog: One lump or two? that all the movies shown on PBS for the Complete Jane Austen will be edited versions. It was said that the DVDs would contain the entire movies but apparently only in Europe. Region 1 DVDs are still edited.

From Austin City Limits to the Complete Jane Austen, KCPT has your Austin/en fix covered.
Starting Sunday, January 13, KCPT will be broadcasting the BBC production of Persuasion in its entirety. PBS will be showing adaptations of all of Austen’s novels plus a new drama based on Austen’s life. According to PBS, “This is the first time in television history that her books have been broadcast as a complete collection.”
